A well circulated story was Elvis met strange aliens when he was a boy and showed him a man in a white suit which sounds like the iconic white jump suit of legend. If aliens and 'UFO's' are manifestations of the ultraterrestrials ala John Keel, it would make sense that they would have a vested interest in Elvis Presley.
